BRISTOL, Wis. (April 22, 2013) — Brunswick Billiards, a world leader in the design and craftsmanship of billiards tables, game room furnishings and billiards equipment, is introducing two new billiards tables for customers who love the look of one of 2013’s leading home design trends – reclaimed and distressed wood. Brunswick’s Brixton and Merrimack tables feature a style that will complement rustic room decor or add a vintage touch to a more modern setting.

“Billiards tables are an important piece of furniture in the home and game room. With the Brixton and Merrimack designs, we have created tables that could be incorporated into any room in the home,” said Brent Hutton, president of Brunswick Billiards. “These newest products are just a preview of what’s to come as Brunswick continues to work with the top furniture and billiards table designers.”

The 2013 product introductions include: Brunswick Brixton™ – Contemporary and comfortable, the Brixton is made from North American and European white oak hardwoods, featuring clean lines with a distressed finish. The unique “X” shaped foundation balances a modern look with a sturdy table, a first for the industry. The warm, natural pattern of the table matches today’s popular furniture styles seen in living rooms and game rooms.

Brunswick Merrimack™ – A modern twist on an old world style table brings velvet-smooth play in the new Merrimack. The classic design features hand-hammered metal hardware and distinctive artisan joinery - the ideal complement to a handsome, hand rubbed antique finish that showcases the natural knots, grain, and texture of the table's rough-hewn North American and European white oak hardwoods. These rugged and rustic qualities provide a perfect contrast to the precision,
stability and playability built into each table.

“These tables bring an element of design to our showroom that hasn’t been seen before from a billiards table,” said Jennifer Evans of Sanders Pro, a Canadian retailer that’s served the billiards industry for more than 50 years. “There has already been a great deal of interest in both the Brixton and the Merrimack.” Both tables are available in eight- and nine-foot varieties, and include matching cue racks.
