Plaza
From the 1894 Brunswick-Balke-Collender Co. Catalog, page 14:
The Plaza is perfect in outline and finish and the handsome carved panels and moldings with which it is ornamented, giving it a rich and elegant appearance. It is usually made in oak, but can be constructed of any kind of wood desired. This elegant and substantial table is of the most chaste design and is constructed of solid woods, without inlaid work, depending solely upon the graceful lines of its moldings and exquisite beauty of its carvings for public approval. It is especially suitable for private residences, clubs, etc.
Furnished either as a carrom or pool table or both combined. All combination tables have our patent adjustable carrom plugs, with iron fastenings.
All tables are fitted with Vermont slate bed from our own quarries, imported Simonis cloth, and the incomparable Monarch cushions.
The legs, besides being joined with wooden dowels, are fastened with a large iron bolt passing through the entire length of the leg to the top of the head block, thus insuring positive solidity.
