Pendennis
From the 1894 Brunswick-Balke-Collender Co. catalog, page 12:

The Pendennis is a table of great beauty and symmetry of outline, but its chief charm lies in the elegant carving and moldings with which are heavily ornamented. Its rich appearance makes it particularly adaptable for finely furnished billiard rooms in clubs, private residences, hotels, etc.

There are few tables in the fine collection made by our firm, which present so many essentials of beauty, solidity, and attractiveness. Pendennis is entirely distinct from all others, and is universally admired. It has a singular charm from its very novelty, and the splendid workmanship and construction cannot be excelled.

Furnished either as a carrom or pool table or both combined. All combination tables have our patent adjustable carrom plugs, with iron fastenings.

All tables are fitted with Vermont slate bed from our own quarries, imported Simonis cloth, and the incomparable Monarch cushions.

The legs, besides being joined with wooden dowels, are fastened with a large iron bolt passing through the entire length of the leg to the top of the head block, thus insuring positive solidity.
