Construction: A heavily built table with frame 12" deep and 1 7/8" thick, of laminated construction and bolted and dowelled into legs to give maximum of strength and rigidity. Table supported by cross stretchers that support the slate at the joints and give additional strength and bearing surface to the slate. Built up of compound construction for added stability, are the legs 7" square, glued together with special moisture-resisting glue, and reinforced by corner blocks, double cross veneered inside and out and fitted solidly into a framework of body. The Cushion Rails: Laminated compound construction that is built up of various kinds of hardwood of different grain 3" x 1 3/4" thick that insures lasting stability.
