BRUNSWICK BILLIARDS TABLES HONORED IN BILLIARDS DIGEST
“BEST NEW ROOM” COMPETITION
Gold Crown, Dominion, and Bristol table featured in magazine’s three winning rooms

BRISTOL, Wis. (Nov. 15, 2009)—If there’s one item that defines a home a game room, it’s a classic billiards table. This year as Billiards Digest magazine set out to find the best new rooms for its 21st Annual Architecture and Design awards, there was one thing all three winners had in common—a Brunswick Billiards table.

The Billiards Digest Annual Architecture and Design Awards celebrate excellence in pool halls and in-home game rooms. This year’s winners include:

  • First place winner, Bob Marston of Supply, N.C. owns a competition-style Brunswick Gold Crown table, known for quality, accuracy and supreme playability. This is the second Brunswick table Marston owned, he gave the first to his son after playing on it for nearly 20 years. Marston enjoys the 8 and 9-ball game with his friends, who gather weekly to play at his home.

  • Second place winner, Steve Uchytil of Atwater, Minn., won for his Brunswick Dominion and Gold Crown tables. Uchytil and his wife recently transformed their unfurnished basement to the game room of their dreams.

  • Third place winners, Ed and Nancy Franke of Hathaway Pines, Calif., turned a portion of their backyard into a full 22-by-22-food billiards lodge with the highlight being their Brunswick Billiards Bristol table.
“As more and more people look to entertain in the home, a billiards table and home game room can bring together all generations,” said Austin Rothbard, president of Brunswick Billiards. “We’re thrilled that Billiards Digest selected three winning rooms with Brunswick tables.”

The three winning room designs were featured in the November issue of Billiards Digest.
