BRUNSWICK BILLIARDS EXPOSITION NOVELTY TABLE FEATURED AT WPBA COLORADO CLASSIC FINALS

BRISTOL, Wis. (Aug. 27, 2009)—As part of its sponsorship support of the Women’s Professional Billiards Association, Brunswick Billiards will feature its special edition, antique replica Exposition Novelty table at the Colorado Classic taking place Sept. 16–19 at the Blue Sky Ute Casino and Hotel in Ignacio, Colo. The tournament finals will be played on this luxurious table, which retails for $39,999 and includes a matching cue rack and cue.

Brunswick resurrected the Exposition Novelty table, which was originally created in 1878, in honor of its 165th anniversary in 2010. The commemorative table boasts magnificent craftsmanship through the use of sapele rails, solid white oak legs, a variety of beautifully grained veneers, solid brass rosettes and rare rail sights. With superb workmanship, exquisite and elaborate inlays, and elegantly carved legs, the Exposition Novelty represents the contrast between that 19th Century sophisticated culture of innovation and the country’s untamed West of that era.
