BRUNSWICK BILLIARDS SPONSORS NEW BILLIARD ENTERTAINMENT SHOW

Bristol, Wis. (June 2005)—Brunswick Billiards is sponsoring a new billiard entertainment show on the Game Show Network (GSN) hosted by Ewa Laurance and titled BallBreakers. The show premiers on Monday, July 18 at 10 pm ET and will run for thirteen weeks. BallBreakers will feature amateur pool sharks participating in winner-takes-all episodes for $20,000. Twelve shows feature amateur players; one show features celebrities.

Ewa Laurance will provide commentary on game play and her expert advice on shots if asked by players. With four players per episode, each participant will begin with a $5,000 “bankroll” to challenge their competition throughout the episode. A player is eliminated when they have lost their entire bankroll. The player who defeats the competition and leaves all of the other players broke will walk away with $20,000.

To build awareness for the show, Brunswick and GSN are sponsoring amateur events in 10 cities. In each city, 15 poolrooms or bars will participate in the amateur tournaments. The winner in each city receives a free Brunswick table package and a chance to appear on next season’s Ballbreakers shows. The 10 cities featuring amateur events are: Atlanta—July 8; St. Louis—July 9; Cleveland—July 15; Detroit—July 16; Washington D.C.—July 22; Philadelphia—July 23; Boston—July 29; New York—July 30; Los Angeles—Aug. 5; and Sacramento—Aug. 6.

Brunswick dealers will receive table tents to advertise the show.
